Mallory, an ambitious New York reporter, is assigned to a story on the Best Small Town in America, sending her to Alabama. 

Mallory stays at a BnB run by Robin and her charming son Wren, a former Marine who is partial to his home but finds Mallory’s confidence alluring. Beneath her exterior, Mallory’s warm side is revealed as she bonds with the community, especially Wren. 

Zeke, Mallory’s best friend and Hollywood heartthrob, visits her there and challenges her to rethink what she really wants.
